Jakarta , Indonesia CNN - The level of happiness of the people of Indonesia continues to increase . It is shown by the Indonesian Happiness Index survey conducted by the Central Statistics Agency ( Badan Pusat Statistik)
Badan Pusat Statistik noted Happiness Index Indonesia during 2014 reached 68.28 , up 3.17 points from 65.11 on a scale of 0-100 .
" The higher the index indicates the level of a better life , " said the head of Badan Pusat Statistik Suryamin in a press conference in Jakarta , Thursday ( 5/2 ).
Badan Pusat Statistik measuring the level of happiness of the Indonesian population through a survey measuring the level of happiness in June- July 2014 with a contoh of 70 361 households spread across Indonesia .
The trik is to measure household income , housing conditions and assets , employment , education , health , the availability of leisure time , social relationships , family harmony , as well as environmental safety conditions as aspects of assessment .
" This survey has become part of an international survey so we do not do it yourself . This index has become the most objective indicator to assess happiness , " said Suryamin .
Income Key Factors Happiness
Resident satisfaction levels on all aspects of assessment has increased compared to 2013. The highest increase in the aspect of household income ( 5.06 points ) while the harmony of the family experienced the lowest increase ( nol.78 points ) .
" The lowest is the educational aspect yes although a slight increase from 2013 , but it shows the public has not been too happy with his education , " he said .
